CWGC Venray War Cemetery Adoption Graves Foundation
General
In May 2020, the CWGC Venray War Cemetery Adoption Graves Foundation was established. The foundation aims to achieve its goal by, among other things:
- To offer interested parties the opportunity to adopt the grave of a fallen soldier;
- Setting up a database to store the details of adopted graves;
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with relatives of fallen soldiers;
- Maintaining contact with (former) adopters;
- Maintaining contacts with other stakeholders such as the Municipality of Venray, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the consul of the cemetery.
